State and Territory Migration Program Allocations Released

State and Territory Migration Program Allocations Released

The allocations for the 2023-24 State and Territories nominated programs have been released.  The allocations are much reduced from the previous program year and there has been no allocation to for the business skills stream.

As a result, all states have delayed the opening of their program until they revise their state nomination criteria, which are expected to be more stringent due to the much lower places available.

It is possible that with enough pushback from the states and territories, the Australian Department of Home Affairs may cave in and issue more places later in the year, however for now, the places below have been allocated.
